Jose M. Cerezo is the founder of Spainco Management, with over 18 years of professional experience in Financial Services and Investing. During the 10 plus years that he worked in banking and Capital Markets, Jose managed investments as a generalist and in a variety of asset classes, including US High Yield, Distress and Mezzanine Debt for the Special Situations Group of Natixis New York. As an investor, in 2007 Jose led a round of financing of a global bioethanol broker based in Spain that is among the leading names in the sector. More recently, he managed the efforts of a Global Trust in Madrid that serviced investment structures for PE Funds and Corporates. Throughout his career, Jose has served on numerous Steering Committees and Boards of Directors. He has a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urban-Champaign, and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
